Some edits feel more like choreography than assembly — this was one of them.
Working on Tranky Funky and Ohh Baby, two videos connected by a single story, meant moving through two different worlds with the same characters.
Tranky Funky kicks off Trueno’s new album, paying tribute to 50 years of hip hop with raw beats, sharp movements, and a charged atmosphere.

Then Ohh Baby shifts gears — smoother, lighter, a disco-infused celebration, but still carrying the thread of the story: a spark between Trueno and a girl he meets.

The editing challenge was to honor both rhythms.
In Tranky Funky, cuts needed to punch, to land with the beat. In Ohh Baby, shots needed to stretch out, dance a little longer, and breathe with the music. Finding the balance between the two — without losing the emotional flow between them — was key.
Two songs, two tempos, one heartbeat connecting them.
