Iʼm Lucas Casolo, an Argentinian film editor based in Buenos Aires. I studied Film Editing at Universidad del Cine FUC and have built my career as a freelance editor, shaping stories across a wide range of genres and complexities.
Over the years, my work has been showcased at international film festivals such as Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival , Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema BAFICI, Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, and the British Film Institute, among others.
Alongside my work as a freelance editor, I was a Media Operations Editor at The Walt Disney Company Argentina), where I managed high-end post-production workflows to ensure technical and creative excellence for a global audience. Iʼve also collaborated with production companies such as Brandstar Studios USA, Landia Argentina), and Warner Music Argentina), delivering high-quality content across different formats.
Working with culturally diverse teams has played a key role in shaping my creative approach, allowing me to adapt to different storytelling styles and find innovative solutions in the editing process.
I specialize in crafting narrative films, music videos, and
commercial projects, always seeking the perfect balance between rhythm, pacing, and storytelling. For me, editing is more than just assembling shots—itʼs about finding the rhythm, shaping emotions, and building the structure that makes a story come alive.
